Paloma Mu | Hime ★

Full time noob | Technically an artist | Cat enthusiast

– Currently living in her own corner of the middle of nowhere with 6 cats & lots of dreams.
Hey there ! I’m a writer, artist and book worm with impending plans to conquer the world. In the meanwhile, I’m writing a blog with all of my theories, rants and word vomit on the books I read for archive and hopefully other’s entertainment.

If you’d like to get fanart of your favorite book and support a needing blogger, visit my “Commission Me!” Page to learn about my prices. Good day ✌️

How my reviews work ★

I like analyzing books alright.

The entire top part of my review will always be spoiler free, it will include thoughts and probably a vulgar summary of the events of the book. It will be easy to note the tone of my review just from reading the top part, even if that is perhaps the part that includes the least effort out of the entire review.

Below, you will always find a warning of spoilers below, which can also be easily found by simply clicking the “Read More button.” Everything beyond that point will most likely include spoilers even if it is not always the case. You will find my rants, praises and analysis on book characters, flaws and what it got right and wrong in my opinion along with what might be unhealthy amounts of shitpost at the bottom of it.

Yes, I’m honest, sarcastic and vulgar. So are my reviews, but that’s teenage angst for you, fella.

Sponsored Review Policy ★

I accept every type of YA book, including from Indie Publishers and self published.

I will only read finished and physical copies of the book, and take into account I currently reside in Mexico for shipping fees.

When receiving a book, I will read it in the span of one to two weeks and will publish a review within the same month— A note disclosing it is sponsored at the top of it always. My reviews will be fully honest, which can include sarcasm, praise and teenage shitpost. I reserve the right not to finish a book either if it is not for me or its just not good. Even if it is an unlikely scenario.

Thanks for liking my website–it’s still all very new to me. I, too, love cats. My 17-year-old cat died two weeks ago; I really miss him–his name was Lucky. Now my husband and I are left with our three dogs. I too write book reviews; right now, I limit myself to poetry collections. Speaking of which, I have a first poetry collection I’m trying very hard to get published; I’ve been a finalist three times, but not a winner as yet. I also teach literature/English full time at the local college. Hope you enjoy Mexico! Write on!

Ahhh, I’m really sorry about your cat, that sounds heartbreaking. But I’m sure good things will be coming with your poetry collection ! You’re more then very welcome, you have very enjoyable content ❤ Hope a publisher will see it too.

Thanks for stopping by diningwithfrankie.com. I’m obviously a cat lover too and wondered if you have a place on your site where you write stories about cats. I’d love to read about your furry friends!

Ah ! That’s very thoughtful of you ! No, I honestly haven’t thought about writing about my cats before, considering I’m mostly reviews and all. Might give it a try ! Introduce my six little buddies to the internet ❤ Thanks for swinging by !

Hey there! Thanks for taking a peek at my blog.. What has so far been started as a project for a college course I’m taking will *hopefully* take off to being something I can keep up with indefinitely. Love what you’re doing with your site, by the way. You’re a super fun voice to read!
